Haematology Promotional Animation

We worked together again with the lovely folk at Pictures for the People to create this really fun animation for the British Society of Haematology.

The idea was to create a visually appealing video to explain a complex process as simply as possible.  In just over 90 seconds, the video takes you through the process for a full blood count.

We looked in detail at the process; learnt about the equipment, labels, and even the scrubs used by the different professionals that work within the Heam Team.

The film in itself is lighthearted, but seeing as the client is a medical body we kept the style quite simple and clean with our preferred minimalist style and use of textures to add interest to each shot.

One of our favourite scenes is the opening title, and we’ve got Donna from PFTP to thank for the amazing idea to give it a “superhero” look to add a bit of levity.  We designed something that would be visually appealing, but without being distracting.

All in all, this was an amazing project to work on, and we definitely consider it as one of our favourites!
